I didn’t want to settle for languishing, or wasting my days throwing all the magic-wish coins in the one unkempt well, only to sit back and wait for the universe to throw me a lifeline. I wanted to break out of apathy jail. So I did.

So this morning, as I meandered to the beach to watch the water, drink my coffee and consider what’s next, I kept thinking about Al Pacino. 

If someone told me years ago that there was a way to get students to write beautifully and honestly and confidently about the things that actually mattered to them, I know I would still be in the classroom…

You’re certain you can get the kids to not only appreciate Shakespeare, but fall madly in love with his writing wizardry, if only they can look past the language barrier.  But how though?

There’s literally no reason you can’t leverage your skills to make a living doing what you love.
